As an OCC Agent, you coordinate operations across locations, business functions and time zones. Your responsibility is to maintain an accurate understanding of what is happening, determine where intervention is required and ensure that the appropriate teams act.

The remit extends across The Golden Tree’s own operations, white-label facilities, subsidiaries, affiliated businesses and associated brands. You work with department heads, facility representatives and internal teams, translating operational priorities into clear assignments with defined responsibilities and deadlines.

You must understand how decisions in one part of the organisation affect work elsewhere. A staffing shortage, technical interruption or delayed approval may have consequences across several facilities. You identify these dependencies, establish their significance and coordinate an appropriate response.

Within your assigned authority, you issue operational instructions, resolve conflicting priorities and follow up on implementation. Matters requiring additional approval or specialist judgement must reach the appropriate decision-maker with the necessary facts and a clear recommendation.

OCC maintains continuity through shared records, structured handovers and active follow-up. Your work must allow colleagues and management to understand the current position, outstanding decisions and next actions without reconstructing events.

You are responsible for the quality of coordination across your assigned operations. This requires close attention to current activity, emerging constraints and commitments that remain outstanding.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining oversight of active assignments, facility conditions, team capacity, service interruptions and operational deadlines.
  • Assigning work to the appropriate departments and confirming that responsibility has been accepted and understood.
  • Coordinating tasks involving several teams, locations or companies, including dependencies, approvals and handovers.
  • Resolving competing demands for resources and management attention within your authority.
  • Following up on delayed, incomplete or contradictory updates and verifying whether reported actions have actually been completed.
  • Coordinating the operational response to staffing gaps, technical failures, supplier disruption and other incidents affecting service delivery.
  • Preparing concise management briefings that identify the issue, its operational impact, action taken and decisions required.
  • Maintaining records of instructions, approvals, changes and outstanding obligations.
  • Identifying recurring failures and following agreed corrective actions through to implementation.

You must be able to challenge an incomplete answer professionally and recognise when a reassuring update is not supported by evidence. Operational reporting must distinguish confirmed facts from assumptions and clearly identify uncertainty.

During disruption, you establish priorities, maintain communication between the affected teams and prevent contradictory instructions. You continue to monitor the situation until responsibilities have been discharged and the outcome has been verified.

Candidates must demonstrate experience coordinating complex operations involving several teams, competing deadlines and consequential decisions. You should be comfortable directing work through others, assessing incomplete information and maintaining a clear record of decisions under pressure.

The required language levels are:

  • English: minimum C1.
  • Korean: minimum B2.
  • Either Mandarin Chinese at minimum B1 or Japanese at minimum C1.

You must communicate instructions precisely, understand operational updates and identify ambiguity before it causes an error. Strong written communication is essential for briefings, incident records, escalation requests and handovers.

Required professional capabilities include:

  • Rapid prioritisation based on urgency, operational impact and dependencies.
  • Confident coordination across different departments, cultures and working practices.
  • Practical understanding of staffing, capacity, scheduling, service continuity and resource allocation.
  • The ability to assess conflicting reports, ask focused questions and reach a supported conclusion.
  • Clear delegation, persistent follow-up and professional handling of disagreement.
  • Sound judgement regarding confidentiality, access permissions and the limits of delegated authority.
  • Sustained accuracy while managing several active situations and frequent interruptions.

Technical competence must include advanced use of spreadsheets, shared reporting systems, task-management platforms and digital communication tools. You should be able to interpret operational dashboards, identify inconsistencies in data and trace the source of an incorrect or missing update.

A working understanding of APIs, automated workflows, webhooks, system alerts and incident logs is expected. You must be able to distinguish a technical problem from a process failure, explain its operational consequences and coordinate an informed escalation.

The position requires composure and accountability. You must be prepared to explain the basis of a decision, correct it when new information emerges and ensure that affected teams receive the revised instruction.

The position carries The Golden Tree’s internal classification ME/I9-X and is open to external candidates and existing employees.

OCC Agent is one of the organisation’s highest operational appointments. The “X” designation indicates that insufficient progression data is available to assign a standard advancement rating. Further career movement is limited to vertical progression or certain higher specialist appointments, subject to suitability and availability.

Annual remuneration follows the structure below:

StageAnnual salaryFirst 14 monthsKRW 118,900,000Following completion of 14 months, provided all required quality scores are achievedKRW 322,900,000

These figures are annual salary rates. The increase depends on meeting all required assessment criteria at the relevant review.

Performance expectations include the accuracy of operational oversight, the quality of instructions and escalations, timely follow-through, reliable documentation and the effective coordination of work across departments.

After three completed years of service, and subject to achieving the required scores, the position provides an annual benefit of five weeks’ paid vacation with an associated vacation spending budget capped at USD 22,000 per year. Applicable statutory leave rights apply throughout employment.

After seven completed years, there may be an opportunity to receive commissions on qualifying tasks. Participation and payments depend on the applicable commission arrangements and are separate from annual salary.

The role requires availability across international operating hours and flexibility during periods of disruption. Working schedules, overtime and rest periods are organised within the requirements applicable to the employment arrangement.
